Nursing FB Group

Who's blog did I read that said they were going to start up a nursing page on Facebook?  Anyone remember seeing that somewhere, because I'd like to join?

  1. A nursing FB page would be alright, but I think for me it is a little easier to remain anonymous by just blogging. I think most health care bloggers worry about being recognized easily, because of patient confidentiality laws.

When I worked at Kaiser Permanente they told us about using software that scanned the Internet with key words about them. One student posted how she thought her clinicals and the unit she was on sucked, she stayed in nursing school, but was asked to complete her clinicals elsewhere.

  2. Okay, you've totally made up my mind for me. For the safety reasons alone I shall not be looking for the fb page, and I want to remain anonymous too. Thanks for helping me figure that out NPO!

  3. My classmates and I created a private Facebook page for our school (it's still a small program). No one talks about clinicals or anything but we post old assignments (so others can see an example of the prof is looking for) and due dates and little encouragements to each other.

  4. That sounds exciting ED, maybe I can find a group with my school separate from my blog that I can do the same thing.
