Snow, snow go away, come again when its WINTER!

A HIGH WIND WARNING remains in effect for the entire area through this evening.  The wind will blow at a steady 25 to 35 mph today with gust up to 45 mph.  The highest wind gusts yesterday and last night were 50 to 60 mph and caused tree damage and power outages.  Once again, be attentive while driving on the open roads and freeways of North Central Wisconsin as the wind gust could cause your car to drift across lanes.  The winds will become a bit lighter tonight and tomorrow, shifting to the west and blowing 20 to 30 mph.  Besides the wind we will have to deal with some scattered rain and snow shower today.  In central Wisconsin the showers should be mainly rain until late afternoon.  The precipitation will turn to all snow tonight but don't expect much accumulation.  Some snow showers and flurries will linger into Thursday morning, then we should experience decreasing clouds by late afternoon.  High temps will linger in the upper 30s to low 40s for most of the day today and again only climb up to around 40.  I totally called it that the snow would fall before Halloween people!!  This weather sucks and makes me want to move back to the Dallas area again.  I'm not ready for winter so soon!

  1. You do realize the Dallas area had 17+" snowstorm last winter, right?

  2. Blah, blah, blah that is totally the exception, not the rule. I'd gladly take it over having lots of snow every winter with 40 degree below zero temps, where you can stand next to your inside wall and feel the cold air blowing in on you from the outside.
Gag, one little snow storm ain't bad. But the summer, now that is another story...
